No More Probation For Lindsay Lohan
March 29, 2012 § 1 Comment
After a long, hard journey of four and a half years on probation, actress Lindsay Lohan is finally free. The 25-year-old “Mean Girls” star was let off today by Judge Stephanie Sautner… the same judge who dealt with Lohan’s double-DUI case in 2007, failed drug tests, failed attendance for court meetings/community service, Lohan’s 2011 shoplifting conviction, etc.
“I just want to say thank you for being fair. It’s really opened a lot of doors for me, and I really appreciate it,” Lohan, according to NY Daily News, said in court.
“You were on a tight leash. You’re not on that leash anymore,” Sautner said.
There’s no more drug tests, no more court-ordered community service hours to serve (especially in a morgue… ew), no more jail time, and no more rehab and therapy appointments for the star.
So what does this mean for Lohan? She’s good to go, as long as she doesn’t break any rules.
With a previous “SNL” hosting gig last month, a “Glee” guest role coming up, and a Lifetime movie set for her to star in, Lohan seems to be getting her life back on track. Hopefully no more mugshots for Linds!
